NYC - DOB TRAINING

The Suspended Scaffold Supervisor Course is aimed at experienced workers, safety managers, and superintendents. Students will learn about the rules and regulations related to supervising suspended scaffold projects.
During this course students will explore New York City Construction Codes and OSHA Regulations as it pertains to the supervision of suspended scaffolds.
This course will include a hands-on portion where students will learn about and apply rope knots, terminate wire rope, build a block and tackle system, effectively install fall protection systems, and inspect/maintain different types of scaffold hoist motors.

Who Needs 32Hrs Suspended Scaffold Training

This course is a requirement for an individual to supervise the installation or use of a Suspended Scaffold in New York City.

In addition to completing this training course, individuals who use a Suspended Scaffold may also need to possess a Certificate of Fitness from a licensed rigger or sign hanger.
